Lets face it. Ice cream is awesome. And it’s one of the many things we’ve been enjoying on our diverse trip.Β Ice cream\gelato is my favourite dessert. Why you may ask, well because of all the different flavours. My favourite flavours are Stracciatella and Bacio. Stracciatella is a cream ice cream withΒ thin chocolate pieces in it,Β (and occasionally some cookie bits depending where you get it). Bacio is a milk chocolate, hazelnut ice cream, almost like nutella, but better. What’s your favourite flavour? PleaseΒ make sure you tell me in a comment later, so I can try it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here in Italy, all 11 of us love to go to local gelato shops. Eating gelato is one of the best things to cool off with, after roaming the busy streets.
Hello to all the people who think gelato and ice cream are the exact same thing just in different languages. Ice cream and gelato are notΒ the same thing. Gelato gets churned (you know what churning is right. When you mix it when it’s surrounded by ice and salt and it freezes,) much slower than ice cream, therefore combining less air, which will make it more dense than ice cream. Gelato is also kept and served at a warmer temperature, which keeps the texture softer. Personally I like gelato better. If you’ve tried both, what do you like better?
